Churros 😋

Got the recipe from Ricke Indriani’s blog (My mom loves her blog, go find her on internet & Instagram guys!)

for many people

Ingredients:

• 250 ml of water
• 50 g butter

• 1 tbsp sugar

• 1/4 tsp salt

• 150 g flour

• 1/4 vanilla extract

• 1 big egg (beat the egg separately)

• cooking oil

• cinnamon powder & sugar for rolling the churros at the end /chocolate dips (any one of them you prefer to eat the churros with).

How to make:

1. Boil water, sugar, salt, and butter until all of them mix and melts. Then add flour that already mixed with vanilla extract. mix well until the dough didn’t stick to the pan. Turn off the stove and cool it down.
2. Add egg into the dough and mix well using wooden spoon. The dough should be sticky but not too mushy.
3. Put the dough in a pastry bag with big size decorating tip. Cut the tip of the plastic to make a hole so the dough can come out.
4. Then make long shape churros or maybe heart shape churros as you like on a rectangular baking pan that already layered with a thin layered of flour so the dough won’t stick to the pan. cool it down in a refrigerator for a while (about 30 min).
5. Deep fry it until it turned into golden brown color.
6. You can whether melt chocolate bar for your chocolate dips, or you can roll your churros in a sugar & cinnamon powder, you can even do both if you want to!!

Chewy Chocochips Cookies 🍪

for many people

Ingredients:

• 265 g flours
• 75 g butter
• 145 g brown sugar
• 50g sugar
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
• 1 egg
• 1 yolk
• 200 g chocochips

How to make:

1. Mix all of the ingredients except the flour, by using hands.
2. Add the flour and mix it well.
3. Let the dough cool down in room temperature.
4. Using hands take some dough and shape it. After that, put the shaped doughs onto a baking pan that already been layered with baking sheet so that the cookie dough won’t stick to the pan. Give some space between the cookie doughs on the pan so that the cookies can expands beautifully.
5. After the oven has been preheat to 180 degrees C, baked the cookie doughs for 15 to 20 minutes.

Vegetable Fried Noodle 🍲

for 6 people

Ingredients:

• 5 white onions (cut into small pieces)
• 10 red onions (cut into small pieces)
• salt
• pepper
• soy sauce
• cabbage (cut into size of your preference)
• 1 carrot (cut into long and thin cuts)
• noodles
• scrambled eggs

How to cook:

1. Boil the noodles, then drain it and place it in a bowl. Add some soy sauce .

2. Stir-fries onions, scrambled eggs, cabbage, and carrots.

3. Mix the noodles into the stir fried eggs and vegetables, then seasoned it with salt and pepper.

Carving

You’ll need:

• Teeth modelling wax (soft/medium/hard whichever you like, but I prefer the medium one). Then melt it so you can make blocks out of it.
• Pisau model
• Pisau malam

Cephalometric Tracing

3rd Semester Skill Lab

Benefits of Cephalometric Tracing are: learning about growth & development of craniofacial, planning on orthodontic of craniofacial, planning on orthodontic treatment, evaluation on a treatment care and analyzing craniofacial abnormalities.

For this skill lab you’ll need ruler, transparent acetate paper, cephalogram, tape, bow ruler and pencil.

Basically, you just need to find the landmarks on the cephalogram and trace it on the acetate paper

 

How to clean teeth collection

You’ll need: teeth, cooking pan, alcohol 70%, toothbrush, bleach, handscoon, divider container, H2O2 (optional).

Steps:

1. Boiled the teeth in the alcohol for 30 minutes or until the alcohol evaporates.
2. For extra cleaning, you can soak the teeth with bleach for 30 minutes.
3. Clean the bleach soaked teeth using toothbrush. Then rinse with water.
4. I also like to boil it again with alcohol for another 30 minutes.
5. Dry them and place it in the divider container.

This is how I like to clean it, some people also recommend to soak the teeth with H2O2 which can make the teeth whiter but some said that H2O2 can make the teeth more fragile, so yeah I didn’t use H2O2.

P.s: I’m not an expert of these kind of things, I got some recommendations from my friends how to clean it in many different ways, so I just did what I think is the best way to clean the teeth. If you have more recommendation for me how to clean teeth collection, tell me anytime ^_^
